About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of PawCare (the “Service”), a pet-health and animal-community platform operated by ⟦to be completed⟧ (⟦to be completed⟧, tax code ⟦to be completed⟧), contact ⟦to be completed⟧. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account. Give accurate information and keep it up to date.

What you may and may not post

You keep ownership of your content, and give us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it in the Service so that it works. You promise that you have the right to post it. You must not post or do any of the following:

• illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that sexualises or exploits anyone;
• content that shows or promotes cruelty to animals, or illegal animal trade;
• spam, scams, or false lost & found reports and adoption listings;
• personal data of other people without a good reason and their right to it;
• attempts to disrupt, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

Reporting, moderation and appeals

Every post, comment, report, listing and message has a Report action, and you can block any user. We review reports promptly and aim to act on clearly illegal or harmful content within 24 hours.

When we remove content or restrict an account we tell you why (a statement of reasons) and you can appeal from the notice you receive. Details are in our Content Moderation Policy.

Adoption, lost & found and meeting people

PawCare connects people; we do not verify users, shelters, animals or reports and are not a party to any adoption or exchange. Take normal precautions: meet in public places, ask for documentation, and never send money to someone you have not verified.

AI features are not veterinary advice

The AI features are informational and can be wrong. They are not a substitute for a licensed veterinarian. In an emergency, contact a vet immediately. See the AI Disclaimer.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses, or for content posted by users. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Your data). We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, and will explain why.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring a dispute before the courts of your place of residence.
