Use the Report action on any post, comment, lost & found report, adoption or shelter listing, or message. Choose a reason and, if you like, add details. You can also block a user so you no longer see their content or receive their messages.
You can also write to ⟦to be completed⟧ to report content or notify us of something illegal. Please include a link or description of the content and why you think it is illegal or harmful.
Reports are reviewed by a person. We aim to act on clearly illegal or harmful content within 24 hours, and to look at every report within a few days. We may remove content, warn the author, or suspend or close an account.
Some obviously abusive words are flagged automatically for review; nothing is removed by a machine alone.
If we remove your content or restrict your account, we tell you what was decided and why (the statement of reasons), which rule it relates to, and how to appeal. Appeals are reviewed again by a person — wherever possible someone other than the person who made the first decision — and you will be told the outcome.
